Next, we'll head to the archeological site of the prehistoric city of Akrotiri. You'll have an hour to explore the more than 4000-year-old site, which rivalseven the legendary city of Pompeii.Maps of the site will be provided to help you navigate its secrets.
Afterward, we'll visit a traditional winery or a home-cellar where you'll learn about the ancient wine-making process and the "terroir" that gives Santorini's famous white wines their distinctive flavor. You'll even get to step on an ancient vineyard and taste three traditional wines.
Around 13:00, we'll stop for a relaxing break, where you'll have free time to swim and enjoy a meze-style lunch.
