With fantastic scenery on the agenda and lunch on board to look forward to, this cruise invites you to relax. We'll set sail for an island adventure on the Ionian Sea, setting out from Imerolia port. First up, we'll head for the rugged island of Kapareli. It's the perfect backdrop for a photoshoot, and you'll have plenty of time to capture great photos from the comfort of the boat.

Next, we'll make our way to the beach of Limnopoula, a natural bay with calm, green-blue water. Here, you'll have the opportunity to swim and soak up the sun, and we'll serve lunch on board so you won't have to worry about a thing.

After lunch, we'll continue our cruise in the direction of Saint Arsenious bay and its Blue caves, where you can enjoy another refreshing swim. Then, we'll head to Arrias Bay for more swimming time and to take in the beautiful views before starting our trip back to Imerolia port. All that's left for you to do is relax and enjoy the breeze on deck as we head back to base.

Sites & Bites: Corfu Old Town, Greek doughnuts and ouzo

Corfu's cuisine, bustling town square and old fortress are the highlights of this half-day guided walking tour. You'll start at the Old Fortress of Corfu, a Venetian fortress dating back to the early 15th century, with some eye-catching views over the town. Eleni, one of our expert local guides, says “this fortress gives you a peek into Corfu's rich history. Keep an eye out for its two peaks – Castel a Terra, or Castle near the Land, and Castel a Mare, which means Castle by the Sea in English. They really show off the military defence architecture from the Venetian era.”Next, you'll stroll through the old town's winding alleyways, known as kantounia, towards Greece's largest plaza – Spianada Square. As you wander between the pastel-coloured buildings, you'll make a few stops to sample local treats, like ouzo and kumquat liqueurs. Plus, you'll learn how olive oil is produced before a tasting session. Then, you'll get to sample another Greek treat – loukoumades. These golden, crispy doughnuts are soaked in warm honey and are often sprinkled with cinnamon and nuts – you'll see why this sweet snack is a favourite in the Mediterranean.After your tasting sessions, you'll have some free time to check out the old town at your own pace. There are plenty of cafes and tavernas if you want to recharge before heading back to your accommodation, or you can shop for souvenirs in some of the local stores – you'll find olive oil products, liqueurs, and handcrafted leather goods on offer.

First up is Achillion Palace. The palace boasts stunning views of the Corfu coast, including Kaiser Wilhelm's former jetty, and its meticulously landscaped gardens are a work of art. You'll then get to sample the trademark flavour of rural Corfu during a visit to a family-owned kumquat distillery. Spiros says, ‘Sweet and fragrant kumquat liqueur is a uniquely Corfu phenomenon – it's made nowhere else in Greece. It's a part of our Corfiot identity. The story of how this Asian fruit came to the island is a real eye-opener.'There are more top-notch vistas at the seaside village of Paleokastritsa. You'll have free time to visit the Orthodox monastery – admission is free – or the coves with beaches. A boat trip can also be arranged here. Next, there's a scenic drive to Bella Vista, so-called for its views over Paleo Bay. Finally, round off the day with a tour and tasting at an olive oil mill and museum run by the fifth generation of the Konstantis family.
